1. CANCER PATIENTS
a. VISITING - COUNSELLING - COMFORTING
In view of giving hope and confidence we visit the cancer patients every week so as to give them moral support through counselling. Counselling, consoling and comforting helps the patients to strengthen themselves and regain their lost hope, confidence and will power. Assessment of their financial status is made and financial support is rendered to them to the extent possible.
b. SMALL HELP - GREAT RELIEF
A kit containing toiletries like soap, paste, oil, dettol, cotton, towel etc. is sponsored to 50-100 patients every month and to all the patients then and there whenever possible. This small help gives them great relief amidst their tremendous financial distress.
c. A SUPPORT FOR NEW LIFE
Economically poor patients are identified through personal counselling and the hospital authorities, and financial aids are rendered for Treatments, Surgeries, Medicines and Chemotherapies.
d. FOOD AND SHELTER
Food and Shelter for Day Care Patients through Monetary support is also rendered.
2. NEW LIFE PROGRAMMES
New Life programmes are conducted at the time of Christmas - New Year and Easter in order to rejuvenate a feeling of Hope and Confidence in the hearts and minds of the patients. The whole objective of this programme is to instil in them a ray of hope and joy.
a. ARTIFICIAL LIMBS - "Strength to Stand"
Over the last three years, our organisation has rendered financial as well as material support to the Bone cancer patients. Some of the interventions made by our organisation are
(I) Financial aid of Rs.15000/- for fixing steel rod for a 17yr old girl, named Shijina , a +2 student.
(II) Special type of shoe worth Rs. 25,000/- for Mr.Selvam, a bone cancer patient.
(III) Artificial limb worth about Rs. 30,000/- to Mr.Suresh aged about 30yrs,father of 3 children.
(IV) Artificial leg worth Rs.66,000/- for a 13 yr old girl Ms. Glory Diana.
(V) Special type of shoe worth about Rs.25000/- to Mr.Valanarasu, who had lost his foot in an accident.
(VI) Crutches to an young boy Mr.Durga Rao, who had undergone a surgery on his leg. These artificial limbs are manufactured by a reputed foreign collaborated Indian Company.
b. CHILDREN'S WARD, CANCER INSTITUTE
Special Programmes are conducted for children with variety entertainment to make them happy and to generate in them a New Spirit and New Hope.
Every year on 31st December we conduct New Life Program welcoming the New Year by cutting cake and gifting each patient a new dress to make them feel new.
On 31st Dec 2011, New Life Programme was celebrated with around 80 children and their parents. We gifted each child with a new dress sharing the joy of New Year.
3. NUTRITIOUS FOOD - A Gesture of Love.
Thursdays being our dedicated day, we sponsor milk to all the inmates of the cancer institute (around 400 patients) on all Thursdays. Apart from this ,every year as a regular activity we distribute Horlicks Bottles to each and every patient of the Cancer Institute. Around 400 patients are benefited out of this gesture.
4. OUT REACH PROGRAMMES
To add some entertainment to the patients, we collaborate with the nearby Institution, St.Patricks Higher Sec. School and with the students of Arul Kadal, a college of Theology and organize cultural events like dances, songs, skits etc. These outreach programme not only bring joy to the inmates of the cancer institute enabling them to forget their pain but also help us to instill the value of our responsibility to our less privileged brethrens.
5. HEART SURGERIES
This year the Trust has diverged in different services. As a landmark, The Trust has sponsored for an Open Heart Surgery to a 2 months old baby, Kishore Kavin from Thiruvarur, in Madras Medical Mission on 26th March 2012. The father of the child Mr.Manigandan is a daily wage labourer and hence the Trust has taken the responsibility of taking care of the medical expenses worth about rupees 1.5Lakhs for the child.
6. FAMILY ADOPTION AND REHABILITATION - "PUTHUYIR PUDHU VAZHVU
"
In view of giving "PUTHUYIR PUDHU VAZHVU" (New Life with New spirit) we have started adopting 25 under privileged families helping them to help themselves. We also help some of the families of the cancer patients to restart their life in a small possible way after their discharge through financial assistance and material helps.
7. EDUCATION
We help the children of under privileged families for their education. Every year we help them for their school fees and other educational requirements.
8. HONOURING THE NEW BORN BABIES
In honour of Christmas festival, we use to visit the new born babies and honour them by gifting them with a kit containing towel and toiletries. Also, we create an awareness on immunisation programmes and other health related issues. This programme was specially focussed towards maternal health and infant health.
9. HELPING THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED STUDENTS
We help the Visually Impaired Students also for their education in a small way.
10. TELEPHONIC COUNSELING & GUIDANCE

"A Round the Clock Service through Counseling and Guidance over Telephone".
This Telephonic Counselling and Guidance was started in the month of August 2011. Within the period of these 8 months around 2000 members from various categories with various problems have benefited through service. People longing for peace, thirsting for Love, searching for a way out, seeking for solutions hadgone through this counselling and have benefited.
Prayer Counselling, Family Counselling, Career Counselling, Educational Counselling, Counselling on Health, Women and Child Welfare, Employment Opportunities, Counselling for Distressed, Depressed and for the Sick and Suffering are some of the Specialities of this Telephonic Counselling.
Apart from this, Creating Awareness on Legal Cell, Promoting Awareness on Green Environment and Eco-Friendly Society, Information on Old Age Homes, Charity Homes and Homes for the Mentally Challenged, Services to the Visually Impaired Students and Inculcating the Values of Blood Donation and Guiding the Donors and Sponsors in the right path to reach the right persons are the prime services rendered through telephonic counselling.
People suffering from various diseases particularly from kidney problem, heart problem, diabetes were properly guided and medicated.
Thus Sowing the Seed of Love in every human soul whoever passes through this telephonic counselling has inspired in them the Spirit of forming a 'New World' that sparks out in the vision of Jesus Park, our organisation.
